Members theukdude
I'm looking for a midi keyboard controller for a Wardolf MicroQ. I would like it to have full size notes 3-5 (4 or 5 preferred) octaves of full keys, pitch wheels etc. The key action quality is the most important feature to me, I'd like it to feel expressive, not like a cheap plastic keyboard. If it could have vintage looks, that would be a bonus!
Members eric
DSI PEK has the best-feeling synth action. Feels expressive and has vintage looks.

But that's a complete synth and very expensive. I have the Waldolf MicroQ for sounds I just need a decent keyboard controller.
Members ChipCurtis
Can you be more specific about what you mean when you say "vintage looks". Do you want wooden end panels? Moog-like knobs all over the surface? I can't really think of such a device either used or on the current market. "Vintage" keyboard controllers from the 80s and early 90s tend to have a more "modern" (black metal/plastic, sparse control panel) look than a "vintage" look. Maybe you can get a modern controller and attach wooden end panels on it yourself.

Where exactly is the point in that thing? It's really expensive and personally I think that even a 49 key controller is way too small to be fun. It's really not that expensive....take a look at anything similar from other companies....that's not too much to pay for a controller that also functions as your soundcard, and with SPDIF out too.....AND includes amp/stompbox effects from their Pod line. Which is why it's gotten some very good reviews. It's really better used as an audio interface/controller but when I saw "vintage looks" this was the first thing that came to mind.
