Members mobobog
wonderful! awesome! But it will surely cost more than what i can pay for a single synth... I hope there is a "Little Smithy Prophet 8" on the way
Gus Lozada
Handsome, but non-GAS producing. Actually for the price they are mentioning, I guess it could become my new modern-analog synth as soon as it is available.

Members mildbill
"WHERE'S the matrix?" -Clara Peller Beckham Fortescue From what I've been hearing/reading, it's got enough to keep things interesting without bordering on overwhelming people. (I love being overwhelmed by the A6 and Q tho).

Members mrcpro
AAArgh!!!!!!! Can't read the front panel! Lotsa knobs... looks to be twice as many as a P5. No trademark Prophet switches though. But knobs are better than switches anyway.
Members Daft Punk
I will focus on playing and producing rather than increasing my sonic arsenal. Although I can't say the same for the other people in my studio I'll be damned if someone doesn't buy this and place it in there within the first 3 months of it's release date. I'm not really interested though, I've got more than enough on my hands to satisfy my needs. In fact, the stuff I need is to CONTROL what i've got, not add to the already growing mess of knobs and switches. Thanks for asking though! Members MuzikB
It's pretty much what I asked for on this very forum a while ago. So far.
Members Tony Scharf
my one gripe is that i cant zoom that picture and read the front panel...and I prefer the wheels in the traditional location. if you look at the PEK keyboard, you can get *some* idea of what it can do. the upper left hand corner looks like it has a 3rd envelope, and it looks like there are 4 LFO's (VERY nice!) it looks like there is also a 4 slot mod matrix (like the PEK) but the controls are moved to the right side where the PEK sequencer would be. I'd guess the bottom three boxes are Oscillators, Filter and amplifier. with the filter section, it looks like it has a switch like the PEK has to change from 2 or 4 poles. what the specific parameters are in each box...who knows. The mods could make this very interesting indeed. neverthe less, I dont feel myself getting all gassy for it. I feel like I'd probably be better off picking up a PER to add to my PEK if 8 voices were something I felt I needed (not really).

Members Tony Scharf
hmm..wonder if this will prod moog into releasing something polyphonic...

Members nat whilk II
Since I don't have a real analog, and my favorite softsynth has always been the NI Pro-53, I'm in the target group undoubtedly.....my FS1R would appreciate the company of another quality piece of hardware....drool... nat whilk ii

Members orangefunk
Hmm.. I'm 50/50 about the looks... seems a bit Multitrack to me.. but its hard to tell from the pic... lets have some close ups! if it had the Bang and Olufson style P5 or T8 knobs and looks I'd be much much happier... I'd have preferred the wheels a few cm higher too ;-)
Members ChromaLord
I hope it sounds better than the yucky Evolver and that it has poly glide.I wonder if he figured out how to make the display to not dim everytime you reached polyphony limit?Whats expensive? The original P5 listed for $4k and that was circa 1977.
Members XorAxAx
I think it looks great. Black and wood go together well.
Members Nightsynth
Yeah, I would prefer the wheels in the traditional place both for looks and ergonomics. Doesn't look as high end and streamlined as I expected...
Members Peake
And we all thought the andromeda was the last great polysynth. From a major manufacturer, that is likely true. More power to Dave!
