Members Deven Mistry Posted September 29, 2007 Members Share Posted September 29, 2007 Hi,I had my Roland XP-60 connected to my PC's soundcard through MIDI cable and was working fine. But suddenly it has stopped working and no MIDI messages are sent or received. When I turn on the PC "MIDI buffer full" message is displayed briefly on my synth and I suspect that is the core of the problem. I have tried reseting the XP-60 to factory settings but the problem is same. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Only difference is that the message is not popping up now. I suspect problem with the cable but I need to be sure since I will have to purchase it and its a bit expensive over here (a small town in India). Could there be any problem with my XP? Members Deven Mistry Posted October 1, 2007 Author Members Share Posted October 1, 2007 Hi, Installed MIDIOX but shows no MIDI activity. Also, I changed the MIDI cable today (purchased a brand new one) but there seems to be no MIDI data transfer. Also, installed Windows XP freshly on a new harddisk, just to make sure but no go.
