Members The Real MC
Besides his work with ARP and Kurzweil, most people don't know the influence Phil Dodds had on the MIDI spec. He pushed to get key velocity in the spec back when no one believed there was a future in it but he had a vision. Phil was also influential in getting the MIDI committee to adapt the optocoupler as the MIDI input interface - as insignificant as that sounds, the optocoupler was ideal in that it eliminated ground loops and EMI. He was the man behind the ARP Chroma and most of the ARP line. We have lost a great man; Bob Moog and Doug Curtis have good company up there now

Members mate_stubb
What a great engineer, and what a great man to shepherd the Chroma through ARP's fall to rise again. Truly my favorite analogue instrument of all time. He will be missed.
