I'm cleaning out my studio today ... trying to make even more room by getting rid of a few pieces of extraneous furniture that just serves as as catch-alls for clutter ... ... not as fun as practicing ... but I'll be happy tomorrow when it's done and the room is oh-so-clean ... yes, I'm on a procrastination break ... It's not radically different ... but definitely a little more space efficient, cleaner, tidier and all the cluttery stuff has been organized in the closet ... HOORAY! And not that I hate noise/ambient music - I love Oval. It just seems like these guys are so intently busy pushing the envelope of their own virtuosity that they forgot that the envelope was supposed to have a message inside. Well said!!! Not, in fact, that I personally have any beef with Rach. or Merzbow in particular, but that's a great turn of phrase right there.
