Members rachelonkeys
Hey guys The top 5 black keys on my roland are constantly depressed and have no spring to them. I want to open up the case to have a look but don't know which screws to unscrew - there's a hinge on the keyboard so it definately opens up but I'm not sure whever to unscrew the bottom screws or the ones at the back of the panel where all the midi/audio outs are. Any suggestions?

Members pogo97
My experience fixing things is that getting them apart, in such a way that they'll ever go back together, is the hardest part of the task. Take a big deep breath and start where it seems like you should start. Use a muffin tin or something to keep the screws sorted and take notes if you need to. When you get to the point where you know you're opening the wrong part, calmly put it back together and start again at the alternate place. Or, if you decide the risk isn't worth the benefit, take it to someone who knows what they're doing.
