Hello!

I just buy an used Yamaha keyboard model CP-60M. Is very old but is ok for my son.

The person that sold me it, doesn't haves the AC Adaptor. Then verifying in the manual, i see that only need a standard AC/DC power supply that the output must be between 16-20V and 100 mA

I have a 18V DC 3A Power Supply from a laptop, enough for it.

My question: In the pwer socket in the keyboard, what is the positive leg in my example? A or B?

Thanks a lot!

On my CP80 the upper one (marked 2 on mine) is hot. my manual has a block diagram in the back which is how I checked. If yours doesn't too be sure I would pull the panel or look from the back and see which leg runs to the power switch. Don't trust the way they did it on a CP80. You don't want to fry it.
