Tabit uses the Microsoft MIDI mapper as the output for its midi files, but I would like to use the VST instruments I have in cubase as the outputs instead. I exported the Tabit file as a MIDI and then imported that into Cubase. I've almost got it working, but I'm having problems with a couple of the VST instruments changing the soundbank back to something I dont want it to be when I push play or just not playing at all. Specifically I am using Cubase SX. I have all the channels set up so that each VSTi has its own channel and each sequenced track outputs to its own channel. Any help possible is appreciated, and I'm aware that a lot of things could be a factor here, but im not sure what all i should say so if you think you can help please ask any questions you need, I'm still new to this.
