Members Gribs
I was wondering if anyone has ordered from Kraft Music and if you have what were your experiences? A search here turned up some threads mentioning people buying stuff from them but no impressions of the seller. They have some Quik-Lok rack/workstation stuff listed in stock that I am interested in buying, but I have never heard of them before and do not recall ordering from them before. I am going to call and talk with them, too. It looks like the Quik-Lok stuff is oft praised but hard to find.
Members MartinHines
As long as you pay with a credit card, I don't think you could ever have a problem with an Internet retailer that also has a "bricks & mortar" location, and who freely publishes both their real address and phone number:http://www.kraftmusic.com/about/ Just FYI, they are listed as an authorized Korg dealer, so most likely they are authorized to sell all the brands they list (Yamaha, Roland, etc.). Finally, they have a stated "we pay for everything" guarantee with regards to defective items:http://www.kraftmusic.com/about/guarantee/ As retailers go, I think you are pretty safe. I would suggest finding out if they have the item in which you are interested in stock.

Their answering service stated the store is closed until Monday because they are attending NAMM, Lol. Their brick-and-mortar store is near Milwaukee, which incidentally is the same place where Nova Musik is located (when stuff ships from there to here in the twin cities it takes a pretty short time). Based on their web page it looks like a pretty nice outfit - started as a keyboard and MIDI specialty shop in 1984. Cheers!

They probably are at the Winter NAMM show, which is the biggest of the two shows (Summer NAMM is smaller). They are exactly the type of music retailer for which the NAMM shows are intended (with the exception of Guitar Center buyers, which everyone sucks up too, since they place REALLY big orders ). Members Awake77
Hey Kraft Music! I ordered stuff from them ages ago -seriously like 10 years ago! It was right went I first got into MIDI sequencing and was looking for a tone module, I spoke with the owner of the store and he recommended a Korg NS5R - but when I got it I was kinda disappointed in the sounds compared to my Yamaha MU80. (I wanted a Yamaha MU-100R, but at the time they werent a Yamaha dealer, IIRC) I emailed about exchanging the unit for something else, and they returned it no problem for a Roland A-33 controller. Ah, the memories

Members Gribs
I didn't doubt that they are at NAMM. It makes perfect sense to me. It is a smaller company and they probably want all their people to be familiar with the stuff that is available and coming out. I was just amused that the first time in several months I decided to call a retailer was during NAMM - I just didn't think about it.
Members Allerian
Kraft is based here in greater Milwaukee. I've bought stuff there and visited the retail location, decent place.
