Members Tullsterx
I'm looking for a synth with a lot of flexibility that also has really good organ emulation abilities. I was looking at the Clavia Nord Electro 61, but, I don't need all the piano stuff, plus I want some synth flexibility. Any recommendations? Members Tullsterx
You see. . . I need more than an Organ, but I don't need the piano stuff. I have a GEM RP-X and I really like it. What synth does the best organs?
Members mate_stubb
Don't know of anything that fits your bill. You have romplers that do a little of everything, OK synths, decent pianos, and lousy organs. You have analog or VA synths that do good synth, but nonexistent or lousy organs. You have clonewheels which do great organs but no synths. You have performance kbds like Nord Stage which do great organ, good synth but also include pianos and is expensive. It all depends on your definition of "good organ". If you think a rompler's organs are good enough, then go that direction. I think they suck but I am an organ afficianado and grew up playing the real deal.
Members Tullsterx
I think I'm going to try out the "Plugiator" thing. I've heard some good things about the B4000 Organ Emulation, any thoughts on that one? Plus it will do lots of synthy sounds. . . could be great or could totally blow. I tried the CME UF-60 and was going to get the ASX expansion card with the same plugins that come with the Plugiator, but that controller kept breaking down (I went through 3 of them) before the ASX expansion card was even available. So, no more CME for me. What about the B4000?
