Greetings! I have two kbds that need some repair. Thought someone might have encountered the same thing, and I need a recommendation as to where to take them for repair.

1. Alesis Micron-some keys in the middle don't respond as well to my touch. I'm a piano guy so it isn't about finger strength. Maybe just need cleaned. Any ideas?

2. Roland older rd series digital piano, 76 note. Every so often I get a loud sound while playing, seems to be slightly above middle C, maybe a F or G. Its as if I struck a note hard and loud, while playing normally. Its short, but almost as if something was storing up energy and then releasing it in a short burst. Doesn't always go with what I'm playing at the moment. Hope someone can help!

Thanks

if you want to take it apart, you can try cleaning the j-wires and bus bar on both manuals. it should be obvious, its the piece of metal that touches the long bar.

i use a qtip and alcohol-although there may be better advice for cleaners on here?
