Juno-G midi control

would it be possible to use my Juno-G to control a rack-mount synth AND retain the normal Juno-G settings?

the manual says i can control 2 external midi devices(creating an ensemble effect), but could i just control 1 and my Juno-G as i would normally?

if not, could i at least play sounds from my Juno(through the synth's song memory or the computer) while i controlled the rack synth?

Juno MIDI out > rack MIDI in.

Juno audio out > computer

rack audio out > computer

Everything you play will be played on both devices as long as the Juno's "local" MIDI is not set to off.

If you want to use the Juno's on board knobs/sliders to send MIDI data while the Juno itself should ignore it, you'll have to study the manual for a bit.

that's what i was thinking, i've read the whole section in the manual, it was just a little confusing (due to my lack of experience regarding MIDI)

could i usb connect to a computer and use the rack synth, or just possibly use the Juno alone while using one MIDI channel?

sorry for over-bumping my own thread, but do i put both into the mic input on my comp, or the other input (the symbol is a circle with an arrow in it)
