Members HarmoniousChair
Well, I think the software has given up on me... it only flashes "nu" repeatedly and only the utility L.E.D. is lit I can't change modes, wont produce any sounds... How do you reset it or what did you use to upload the software, if you've ever done so cheers..
Members HarmoniousChair
I just listened to the songs on your link, they sound really nice, really clean and dynamic and colourful, well produced too.... but yeh, my novation sux, i just bought it second hand too, does it have an on/off switch? I've just been unplugging, seems funny not to have an on/off switch.
Members Gunslinger69
If you don't have the manual, here's a soft copy. http://www.novationmusic.com/support/user_guides/astation/ I never had the program you describe when I had one, so no tricks, but the manual does have a limited Restore by bank function. You can always load the OS and start from there.
Members HarmoniousChair
Yeah I download the manual, just having a bit of trouble uploading the software, I dunno it's a pretty freaky malfunction, i'm pretty stumped as to what to do. I wish I bought it new so I could send it back to the manufacturer..
Members Acid Hazard
Try a different PSU. The one my old A-Station used went bad after a while.
Members HarmoniousChair
Ok, thats what I thought might be the most serious problem.. But I am getting some kind of power, surely the PSU would either be working or not working you know? What happened with yours? how much did a replacement psu cost? Members grondo2001
Not true actually! When I got mine (S/h from eBay) it came bundled with a PSU that seemed to work fine until I turned any knob. Then it would die on me. I contacted the seller who promised me the module was mint, well guess what all problems disappeared once I got a new adapter. Yamaha's KPA3 seem to work fine with it. Otherwise make sure that the adapter you're getting is F U L L Y compatible with the A Station requirements.

They can start outputting wrong voltages which can screw with the synth's functionality. I just got a normal Universal PSU, about $13 at Wal-Mart. Just make sure you put the tip on with the proper polarity, and set the correct voltage.
