Members mildbill
There was an A6 thread like that over at the Musicplayer (Keyboard) forums too a while back. It ran about 8 to 12 pages and I read it several times before buying my A6. I searched for it a while ago, but can't find it anymore. I probably should have saved a copy somewhere. Members idiotboy
...it's cool when the stars come out. I didn't know that part about one of the team members going to the Line 6 team--"Phil", I think; can someone tell me more?
Members The Real MC
That would be Marcus Ryle. Marcus was the designer of the Oberheim Xpander and Matrix-12 synth, later to head the Line 6 team. Marcus wasn't really on the A6 development team; he was a consultant who gave some valuable insight from his experience with the Oberheim line. "Phil" was one of the contract software/firmware developers who authored the A6 code, employed by Extreme Measures not Alesis. I've had zero communication with him when I was beta testing the A6.
