Members r05c03
I need a decent drum box and I while I am tempted to get an Electribe of one flavor or another, I tend to like to get something that I know I will not exhaust and will keep me happy as my skill grow. That being said it seems like the Elektron MD-SPS-1 might be such a machine and something that I can pickup on ebay for around $900.....However I am very intrigued by the potential of the analog Linn Drum II. Wait or buy? How well does the MD SPS-1 do live tweaking? The LD II is reputed to be very live use friendly... Thanks.
Members idiotboy
Buy the MD now and flip it when the LD is available. By the time the LD is out, you'll know whether you want to stick with the MD, or upgrade to the UW, or flip it for the LD. Side-note: to me, the non-analog LD doesn't bring that much new to the table, so if you decide on LD, I'd go with the analog version.

Members electrobaby
I had the exact same question a month ago and have decided on the MD UW...as Im sure I wont be exhausting the potential.
Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
I received my MDUW yesterday, and according to my BADASSOMETER, it goes from zero to BADASS in less than a second. I'll wager that the Elektron unit is built way better than the LD, too.

Members r05c03
I picked up the SPS MKI. Not an MKII or UW. But at the moment I have 0 drum machines. I am sure after an OS update I will not be wanting for features for quite some time....
