Members Gunslinger69
I'd like to hear more about the creation process for the track; ie how much was done using the arpeggiations from the kb and how much was done via looping in software. impressive track - shows a side of the prophet I hadn't heard. Members unease
Really nice! I like the bassdrum! I wonder how much processing has been done?
Members DocT
I don't know if much processing is involved, but afaik he makes is demos with as little as possible except a limiter on the sum channel. He said that the bassdrum was 8 voice unison and then sampled to have a constant kick without analog filter drifting.
Members ChristianRock
Yeah that bass drum is pretty impressive.Good sounds!
Members depulse
A well done demo. OT: But it's all down to arrangement. I remember having spend a whole weekend in a 24 channel (analogs channels, back in the old days) studio with all the latest gear (including old classics like the Prophet 5) to record and produce a new song. The girl that was signing for us brought our rough mix home to practise the vocals and she brought the next day back a demo tape of the same song re-recorded by her boyfriend. It sounded so much better than what we had done. I asked her what equipment her boyfriend had, the answer was a Korg M3R and a 4 track cassette recorder. It just shows how good results can be achieved with simple gear if it's well arranged (and how bad spending 48 hours non-stop in a studio affects your judgement)
