I use ITM Keys and ITM MidiLab on my iPod touch. They use Open Sound Control (OSC) to communicate with a small (free) ITM app on my MacBook Pro.

I start the ITM app on the iPod, then start Logic and the ITM app on my MacBook Pro and the iPod becomes a wireless controller that I use to play Logic's instruments. It works great.

The ITM Keys app actually has aftertouch (senses finger position on a key) on its keyboard.

MIDI is so 1980's. ;) OSC is meant to supersede MIDI:

For Logic Studio, all I have to do is what I mentioned in my previous post, I don't have to change any MIDI settings in Logic. The ITM OSC app on the MacBook Pro seems to convert what is coming from the ITM OSC app on the iPod to a MIDI stream that Logic understands without any user intervention.
