Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
What do these names have in common? They're all Musician's Friend supervisors whom I've spoken to since last Wednesday. They all have a story in common: they've initiated a missing item track, and they can't ship me a replacement Blofeld until their warehouse responds to their email with a stock count, "proving" that I didn't receive the item. I asked Loretta this morning, "how long would you say it is reasonable to wait until I call my credit card company and reverse the charge?". Loretta simply answered that I was within my rights to do so. Fine. I can, and may well do so. I know I've been complaining about this for several days now, but I thought it might be worth bringing it up in it's own thread, given that this is the holiday season, people are shopping, and a cautionary tale may help someone out. I can't imagine that they have huge stacks of Blofelds lying around that would make counting difficult. Is there any way you can get to the warehouse supervisor? The sales staff are clearly not pressing them for an answer. I would get them something in writing - fax or mail - stating the problem and the substance of your conversations thus far, and state your intent to dispute the charge if the matter is not resolved by a date certain. EDIT: I wounder if this thread will be allowed to remain. :Hmm: DOUBLE EDIT: apparently I am the world's slowest typist.

Members Purity_Control
Do the people at musician's fiend not have surnames anymore? I had to ring the local power company at work earlier today about an invoice, and the people there don;t have surnames anymore. You ask and they just say they can't give that out:rolleyes:

Gus Lozada
1) I like skinny girls. But Asians, I pass. Thanks. 2) Why in the /&!%"/( world people "wonders" if a thread against MF would be deleted? One thing is a real complaint and another just a hate / bashing thread against a company or other forum, which really are not into HC's best interests. DualLowPa... errr... the Delicious Lamprey Problem is more than a regular member and he posted an actual complaint. I am not sure is anyone at MF actually read the thread and acted in response, but hey, it was a very honest question and even provided the names of the people he contacted. Do not be paranoid. Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
Thanks, Gus. And, of course, their was a resolution, so one way of looking at this is that MF did complete their process, and had I known that they would, perhaps my blood pressure would have been a little lower. It was the "uh, I don't know man, try calling back in a few days" attitude of their 1st level support crew that prompted my general twitchiness. Members ChristianRock
Hmmm I just checked and they got a good price on it. Good deal even though you'll sell it as soon as NE3 shows up
Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
I'm planning on keeping it (stop that! You in the back, stop laughing!). Knowing that the E3 is coming out, I still bought it. I decided that I like the sound of the E2, I already own a nice reverb unit, and the E3 isn't coming out in rack form. And, it was about $930 shipped.
