Members idiotboy
How did I miss this? A 3-D mouse that lets you control music in six dimensions. You use the MIDI Navigator app to assign CC values, etc. Peep the demo video: Pretty cool.

Members mildbill
If you've already got a joystick, you could try this little program: http://www.hermannseib.com/english/midijoy.htm I toyed around with it a few years ago, and it was pretty cool. Members wetwareinterface
one handed 3d mice are a dime a dozen.just look for presentation pointer mice combos.it's a 3d accelerometer based mouse with all the buttons on the top surface and typically they have a trigger for the mouse click. it isn't really 3d still 2d but...if you use one of the extra buttons and logitech's older mouseware app you can assign an extra button for shift or alt keys and then your app can respond to shift+ or alt+ mouse movement.
