Members ElectricPuppy
Since the X-Station utilizes both black AND white keys, you will find that it will become important for you to subconsciously sublimate their innate properties. Members pogo97
DOES IT HAVE TEH GOOD ARPZ? I'm not an arpy kind o guy but I suspect it's pretty vanilla. A few dozen rhythmic patterns, the usual uppy downies and a half dozen other parameters. I'd look in the manual for you but, heck, it's online anyway. It's printed in black and white. Members ChristianRock
Why a boring X-Station instead of the exciting D-50? What kind of sounds will the X-station give you that the R3 doesn't do better? On the upside, it has black and white keys

What kind of sounds will the X-station give you that the R3 doesn't do better? On the upside, it has black and white keys More keys than R3. More stability than D50 (in that it's not vintage). Better interface than R3. Better keybed than R3. USB connectivity (unlike R3 and D50).
