Members finboy
as many of you know, there are flexible keyboards... does anyone know if there is anything similar in a piano type key layout? I have garage band and would love to add things in (midi or otherwise) when out and about but lugging around a midi keyboard is a bitch and using the "qwerty" keypad on my laptop to try and input music is a pain in the ass. hope that makes sense. Members flat earth
I found this: http://www.made-in-china.com/showroom/tianyutek/product-detailKfrECMnVJxwU/China-61-Key-Portable-Foldable-Roll-up-MIDI-Flexible-Piano-Keyboard.html Similar to this: If the size is an issue, the Korg Nano keyboard might be of interest, (although the keys themselves are rather small.) Members soundwave106
I've never heard really good reviews of the roll-up pianos, mind you. (Or, for that matter, the Korg Nano keyboard.)
Members kennychaffin
Well, I think it would be awful myself, but certainly if portability is the primary concern it might be better than playing on a computer keyboard.
Members The Pro
I have a roll-up piano... I use it as a gag. It's not good for much else. It does not trigger notes reliably - you have to hit the keys just right and even then it sucks. You don't want one for anything even semi-serious... get a little MIDI controller and be happy.
