Members Roald
A really cool gadget, the new "Mikey" stereo condenser mic by Blue Mics. It plugs into your iPod and uses the voice memo function to record (lossless!) cd-quality files. There are 3 preamp settings so you can record ambient noises, a conversation, or rehearsals and concerts. A bargain at 70eurs! Sound quality is great, there's even bass extension and it is a no-brainer..plug in and go. The only disadvantages I see, is that there is no external input and you cannot load the iPod battery during recording (I managed about an hour on my Nano-Chromatic) Following soundfile is straight from the iPod, just 128KBPS mp3 compressed http://www.chromelegs.nl/mp3s/FreakU250609.mp3 btw..the song is "FreakU" by Nils Landgren Funkunit, new swiss band Funk-o-Meter goofing around
