Members Rellik2
Anybody played both of these? I'm trying to decide which 61-key to go with for my new controller, both live and for composing/production at home - I haven't decided if I care about Automap at all. But I doubt I'll have a chance to play both of these (or even one of them) in person. Opinions? My live setup is laptop-based, so the X-Station having a built-in audio interface is a bonus (and for quick jams having an internal synth would be great, so I wouldn't need to carry and set up the laptop), but I worry if it's out of production and perhaps the components have begun to degrade. And the SL 61 mk II has such cool extra features! So I'm just gonna say it balances out and leave it down to the keyboard action Thanks!
Members Pr3Va1L
I believe all the novation keyboards share the same keybed.. My X-station has probably the best non-weighted action I've come across, so you shouldn't be too unhappy with it either way.
