The Nova has programs, which you have to set the midi channel to 16 (global) on your master keyboard, in order to hear the sounds. The Nova also has a performance mode which the midi channel also needs to be set to global, but I gotten better results when I set the master keyboard to Omni. However, when I try to play patches/programs that have an arp pattern built in, I get no sound. Does anyone know if I can do a factory reset and how or what midi channel I need to set my keyboard to in order to get arp patterns to sound? Thanks! Members plaid_emu Posted July 11, 2009 Members Share Posted July 11, 2009 Some synths need to receive active MIDI clock data in order to "play" arps. maybe this is one of them.
