The seller makes reference to Carbon111's website, kind of a small world. Brings me to another question... could this be his spare he sold a good while back?? If it really was his, would I need to sanitize its inerds for kitty hair?

Members carbon111
She's not a big shedder. I've noticed a lot of MWXT sellers use my site as some kind of selling point. They should just be using their synth!

Members Suilebhain
I think they use the site as an authoritative source of additional useful information, which is, after all, what it is. They probably are also not aware of how popular the XT really is, thinking, "I bought this beast blah blah years ago and don't need it, how can I successfully sell it?" and do a Google search on it. There's no better resource on web if you really want to learn this synth. BTW, the "circle cat phenomena" is explained in this post.
Members Purity_Control
She's not a big shedder. Muscular body though. I've never been able to pick a moggie up like that, but i can pick phoo up the same way, she stretches out like a big sausage on legs!

Circlecat as "Kangaroocat": ...and Spiralcat: ...and of course she does more than just sleep...I sometimes put her "bucket" in the kitchen so she has a comfortable spot to watch me if I'm working in there - otherwise she's always underfoot:

Members asynchro_nous
Bach42t -- congratulations on winning the XT! I was checking that auction out and toyed with the idea of bidding, but couldn't have gone that high in the end anyway at this time. Please check back in with your impressions of the synth if you have the time.
Members mildbill
All quiet on the synth front, Carbon? Haven't heard from you much here lately. I'd just take it as a compliment to your knowledge and skills that people refer to your site when trying to sell a synth.
Members carbon111
Still devoting most of my "spare" time to the new album. ...probably be out early in the new year. I do take the refs as compliments...just wish people would love the MWXT and use my site as a resource instead of part of their sales pitch. ...But watcha gonna do? The MWXT has been getting a good workout in some current tracks and is still a prominent instrument in the studio:

If it makes you feel any better, he did say if I want to learn how to use this synth I better use your XT site.

Members aeon
I've always wanted an XTK just could never bring myself to spend what they go for especially when I have PPG Wave 2.v and Largo. Those are in the same ballpark as it concerns some sounds, but don't really capture the MW XT sound. I'm guessing you know that already, and as you said, the difference vs. cost is what makes the decision for you. When I got my XTk, I knew in the first 30 seconds of turning it on that it was a (barring emergency) never-sell piece. Thank HC KSS for making that deal-trade possible. And then thank eBay for the 30-voice expander! cheers, Ian

If I get to the point where I don't care about $$ I'll get one for sure otherwise the price needs to come down to around the $300 mark for me to bite and I can't see that happening anytime soon. I do admit that our kitchen is a bit "industrial-looking" - my wife is a soapmaker and I'm a brewer. It reminded me more of a do-it-yourself pharmacy. If my kitchen looked like that I would be shot.
