Members Sergiu Muresan
Well, I bought it 14 hours ago and still no serial in the mail..not even a validated order. Also, no one on chat.
Members ChristianRock
Hey Martin! How are you doing? I started a thread about this also, a couple days ago. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2461689 Awesome deal and a no-brainer... if you have a computer in your studio
Members MartinHines
Well, I bought it 14 hours ago and still no serial in the mail..not even a validated order. Also, no one on chat. On the website it says that they process the orders manually. Given you are in Romania (i.e. not in the U.S.), they are probably validating the charge first. Members Sergiu Muresan
You were right, Martin.Well, I managed to download the demo from the AAS site (the only downloadable VA-1 I can find is the demo), I installed it, however, when I try to insert the serial, the "Authorize now" field in the Help menu is grayed out. I can't access it.Does anyone know how this is supposed to work?
Members J3RK
They sent me download links a few seconds after I finished my order. However, I haven't received my key yet. Once I do, I can tell you how it works. Did you get download links in your email?

So, you have a serial number, but no program (besides the demo)?Seems like some people are having a bit of trouble, but getting it sorted out eventually - scroll down a bit on this page for something similar. http://www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-electronic-music-production/430988-no-brainer-deal-aas-ultra-analog-va-1-15-a-3.htmlCan you check your order at the site? Did you sign up for an email account there. Other people say that there's a page there, when you check your order, that has a file download area. Members Sergiu Muresan
Just got an email from Beth, with the download link. I suppose it is a totally manually driven process, so they skip a beat from time to times. No problem, it all went well in the end. Installing now. :-)
Members Otoroko_HVY_IND
Bought it wednesday, no serial yet and the download link was a file (turned out to be a .pdf) without a file extension. Sounds fine, horrible ugly GUI.
Members J3RK
I really like Lounge Lizard. For $15, this can't be too bad. I do remember the GUI looking fairly ugly if memory serves. I mostly use Helix and Largo, but for $15 I had to grab it. May add a touch of variety.
Members MartinHines
Bought it wednesday, no serial yet and the download link was a file (turned out to be a .pdf) without a file extension. Sounds fine, horrible ugly GUI. Right. It is hard to see, but on the order screen itself is a small "download" link which downloads a .pdf file that is missing its .pdf extension. The filename is "AAS_Ultra_Analog", which if you add the .pdf (rename it to "AAS_Ultra_Analog.pdf") you can read the file. The document contains links to the v1.1.2 Mac and Windows versions, and the manual. After this, the process is:1) download the software from the AAS website (using the links in the .pdf)2) Receive the Serial Number via e-mail3) Install the software4) Use the Serial Number and software-install generated "Challenge Code" and go to the AAS website to authorize/unlock the software:http://www.applied-acoustics.com/unlock/5) Use the Response Code you get on the webpage to fully authorize/unlock the software. Members piano39
I bought this software as well. At least I thought I did. When I went to pay for it (via paypal) I got an empty shopping cart and had to keep on starting over. Eventually, I got an email and downloaded the software (I love the epiano arpeggio patch- worth the $15 by itself), but haven't paid for it or got the serial number yet.I also hate the interface. Members moog man
I don't see how you could hate the interface. Couldn't more straight forward IMO. Not the best graphics I have seen but it does the job just fine.

It may help if I joined the 21st century and got a widescreen LCD monitor. The knobs are really tiny on my 10 year old 15" CRT. I keep hoping that the thing will die so I can upgrade, but I have a hard time throwing a working device in a landfill.
Members bruto
I used to have the demo of that, and I really liked it. There was a patch on it I just loved - can't remember the name though. Anyway, I'll buy it tonight. $15 is a no brainer.

Members Yoozer
Paypal works in the sense that the shop's site is going to request some kind of magic number from Paypal. They'll tack that onto the URL that they'll redirect you to. When you arrive there it doesn't matter if you're logged in or not; Paypal receives the magic number and at the moment you hit "confirm" (which requires you to be logged in), Paypal knows what transaction ID it was for. When you go back to the site, they receive the data (who paid?) from Paypal back again. In fact, you don't even have to, because they can request the status based on that magic number and see who paid. I also really like the way it sounds. "05 Futurscape" sounds absolutely gorgeous. Members MIDIhead
If your serial number is taking more than 4 days to arrive: The email states that it can take up to 4 days. This is due to the need to verify the validity of the credit card and accounts for the possibility of weekend purchases or purchases during holidays. Also, please check your junk mail folder as there have been reports that the serial numbers ended up there. If you do not receive your authorization code within 4 days, please contact AudioMIDI: 1+(818) 993-0772Toll Free in the US: 1-866-283-4601sales@audiomidi.comOffice hours are Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) from 8am to 6pm Pacific Standard Time. Make sure you have your invoice number handy. Please note: You can still install and use the Ultra Analog for up to 15 days in fully operational mode before you need to authorize it. Please contact AUDIOMIDI only if you have not received your serial number within 4 days. I hope this helps! Best, M
