Members chrisrbr
My main instrument is guitar, but dabble with keys. plus we are a two guitar band, so the keys open up many other songs for us to perform. been adding more songs for keys lately, so I guess I'm fooling enough people. Presently use a Korg MicroX, which has a nice array of suitable sounds for a live band. two octaves can be tricky, but use the octave shift button often. (in general only a one handed player, though that is changing too).now the question: Have been having some reliability issues with the Korg. pitch changes at random--not coolWould like to get something more reliable, but not a huge/heavy unit. lots of stages we play are very small, plus I have my guitar stuff too. any ideas? small and light are my favorites, but do want full sized keys--not a toy etc.thanks for any help

I'd suggest juno G or juno stage. The latter has nice keybed, bigger keys, something like fantom X but juno-g has sequencer which you might need. Members chrisrbr
actually, I don't really care about the cost. gig money will cover it. I used to haul around a Yamaha DX-7, (yeah shows my age), that thing was beast when in a road case.---hence my size/weight issue

Members Darkstorm
49 key would prob be pretty good. Novation makes a couple nice VA synths this way. More then 61 keys would be too big for what your wanting.

Members F!nn?
Might be too small for you, but the Akai Miniak is really cool, feel sturdy too.

Members Mega Jon
+1 for Juno - G It is very light and 61 gives you more room to split the keyboard than the smaller units.
