Hammond XM-2 - low end?

So I perform with a Nord Stage and a Hammond XK3, and I play left hand bass a lot. The low end of the XK3 is frickin incredible. This and for other reasons (namely drawbars) is why I don't only use my Nord Stage for B3 sounds (no drawbars, no decent manual bass). But schlepping two keyboards is getting old (or maybe I am). And I'm much more accustomed to weighted action so I just want to start bringing the Nord Stage minus the heavy XK3. I'm thinking the Hammond XM-2 plus the XMc2 drawbars might be the way to go.

I would like to know if anyone has the XM-2 and can confirm a nice beefy low end as found in the XK3?

I'm also open to suggestions for other B3 sim racks w drawbars if there's a fat bass organ involved but I'm privy to the gear I mentioned because it's served me well so far.

I have never used an xm-2 personally but I know you are not going to be impressed with it after using an xk3...the difference in sound is pretty apparent. BUT just for bass registers I cannot comment on if it can hold its own like an xk3.

The XM-2 has the same sound engine as the XK-3 with the improved C/V and digital Leslie of the XK-1. Like the XK-1 the digital Tonewheels are not adjustable but there are a number of B3, Mellow and Brite tonewheel sets to choose from. It also doesn't have the tube preamp.

It does have the Manual Bass feature. The owners manual is available on the Hammond website.

There are a number of benefits to having both the XK-3 and XM-2 and using them together:

The option of having split C/V

Screaming tube overdrive on one manual with a clean tone on the other

With a System/2nd keyboard, it can be split to have a bass section and a different comp/lead section in addition to the upper manual.
