Korg Tr rack issues

If I play, for example, sound number B62 "square wave lead" and I press C and then I press quickly C three or more octaves up, the note that sound is F# instead of C and, if I press again, the note that sounds is the normal C that should sound.

If I am not explaining this well, I leave this demo. Here I am just pressing two keys but what sounds are three notes, which is a kind of bug.

is this normal in Korg Tr rack??

Probably is transposing the note automaticly because at some point in time it was set by a user. You would have to read the manual very carefully to find out where the setting is. Could be a key transposed up. Could be some kind of keyboard "split" which allows left and right hand to play different instruments..could be some sort of automatic easy to play mini riff based on one key.

So first I would assume it is a altered (non factory-a user made the setting) setting of some sort.

It could also be a setting assigned to a particular patch...you only would sound two or three notes to use it..so you would have to look at a patch setting (patch parameters) that it does it on.

Could be an individual key assigned as a control for something..

Could be hardware error, but its likely the above or something similar. Keep a written record of all your parameter settings..so if you ever do a factory reset..you can go back and get the keyboard set up the way it works correctly

Thanks man!! Nonetheless, I had the opportunity to talk with a Korg user and he has the same issue and he said it is known as "the legato bug".

It seems that it works okay in a single sample region (or at least is an alternative explanation to the issue) but if you move forward to another sample region the issues appear. He said that even the latest Korg keyboards had the issue (M3). It is not that bad, since you can play great solos without listening the issue within three octaves, you only hear it if you move from three octaves down to other upper octave (it seems to happen only to mono sounds with portamento).

You can keep that in mind while you are playing in order to avoid it, I just use Kurzweil too and I love to perform solos playing with the legato (it works great in Kurzweil). The only reason I do not sell this is because it sounds GREAT, greater than I expected (I have a Korg Micro X too and it is a toy compared with the Trinity).

Thanks for your answer.
