Members Metrosonus
quick question.. i finally just hooked up my pedal to my Maudio 61es and it seemed to latch when I was using it on Albino. Like I had to tap it again to turn it off. Are sustain settings determined by the VSTi? i checked the manual and it seems pretty transparent from the 61es. However, from a thread on KVR, it seems like the pedal latches. Is that typically the case? hows it's used is up to the VST?
Members Meatball Fulton
Sustain pedal just sends CC64, it's up to the receiving device to decide what to do with it.
Members carbon111
Maybe your pedal is the wrong polarity for the 61es? Check the pedal for a polarity switch or a setup menu in the 61es.
Members Metrosonus
there isn't one.. the manual said though that it detects the polarity on startup, so if you want to reverse it, hold it down when you boot up. I may try that.. Although, Rob himself said that Albino treats the pedal like latch for anything running and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it. Of course, I also need to try it with other synths though and see what happens.
