Members johnmoorejohn Posted March 24, 2011 Members Share Posted March 24, 2011 I have been looking for a keyboard controller for a while now, and have now started expanding my search to anything with keys. I am wondering what you all would recommend. The main purpose would be just to control my VSTs. I don't really need any sounds beyond what my VSTs already have. But, what older or newer synths out there are not replicable by current VSTs? I have Komplete, Omnisphere, and BFD2. For example, I thought of the D50. I am looking for more synths like that where my VSTs currently won't go. Another one I was looking into was the ESQ-1. What else should I be looking at? I am open to new synths too. Maybe just something that is fun. I know this is very general, but since I need some sort of keys, I may as well get something fun. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Very cool if you already play sax. I just noticed that this one only has 4 octaves... mine has 7... Oops... I just noticed that this one doesn't have MIDI IN/OUT like mine... Never mind.
