Members CoolColJ
I'm looking for this program that used to be hosted here, but the site is no longer around, and the mail address doesn't work http://replay.web.archive.org/20070325224120/http://windsynth.org/iwsa_labs/patch_programming/VL1_Expert_Editor.shtml It's a Yamaha VL-1 editor for the PC thanks
Members mildbill
Carbon 111 had a VL-1 for sale here a bit back. Maybe he's got the editor. I went looking for the VL expert editor a bit back and was surprised to see the windsynth site gone. I've got the basic VL editor, but only get an 'access violation' error message with it on my current OS. I used to use the expert version quite a few years ago, but I think it was around the Win'95 era.Good luck with your search.
Members CoolColJ
Thanks I managed to get a Mac OS9 emulator running on my Windows 7 PC - called SheepShaver I hope midi works, we'll see. This might be the best bet, as the Yamaha Mac Expert Editor can read all the VL1 files floating around the web, so I'll be able to dump them into my VL1, since my Floppy drive is dead Then dump them out into Sysex and Soundiver
