crate V Series V18-112 18W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp

Very quite amp, even at high volume. My Approximate settings: Gain 2-3, Level 6, Treble 5, Middle 2, Bass 6, Reverb 2-3. At lower volumes, this amp sounds just "ok".. once you are past 5, the amp gives you very nice tube tone. I use an American Standard Strat HSS, thru a Compressor, MT2, Cry Baby, Chorus, TS9, DoD Delay. I play blues influenced rock, new rock, a touch of metal, and a lot of blues. The distortion on this gives you classic 70's style. I use the MT2 to get the various distortion effects I want. Don't expect Fender quality reverb. I keep reverb no more than 3, any higher and it's kinda of metallic.

Have had this for about 3 months. No problems at all so far.

I've been playing for about 20 years, off and on.

I would definitely buy it again if lost or stolen.

I Love the price and the tube tone.

If anything, I might change the reverb tank to accutronics (stock is Ruby).
