Members oinkbanana
here's a short video of what it sounds like GGud3Ni6Vzs So it's gross phasey distortion. The speakers, headphone out & line out all give me a distorted signal. though the Aux in on the piano reproduces a clean sound which leads me to believe the problem isn't in the amplifier section or with the power supply. I've opened up the keyboard and looked that the three PCBs and there are no apparent failures (burnt, leaking or broken components). I even removed the boards and looked at the back side. Everything looks nice and clean. here are pictures of the three boards. any ideas or suggestions? Is this sort of thing difficult to repair and could someone fix it without getting the schematics or having access to specific Technics replacement parts (Technics stopped making instruments 5 year ago). It's an 18year old Technics PX55.
Members claytonjohn18
I'd sell it do one of those tweakers over in Effects, they seemed to like it.
Members oinkbanana
one guy liked it. but i doubt he's an interested buyer.it's worth more as a weighted piano midi controller (which still does function)

Members JeffLearman
Good luck, but I suspect you have a MIDI controller here. Unless you can find a good exorcist, that is.
