It wouldn't load at all except for a couple times when I'd get the main title bar but that was it. It's also been slow loading for the last few days as well. Anyone else? There's been discussion about this in the mod forum as well, and as far as we know, the IT guys are still trying to figure out what's up. I've also noticed that this seems to be an off and on problem; For a while it works great, and then for a while it's slow as a dog. Sorry guys. So the forum will run faster if we either avoid posting pics of naked ladies, or make sure that they are appropriately restrained so they can;t sneak off. I believe this is exactly what brought down the US Drone over Iran. The Iranian's are so starved for pictures of nekkid ladies they brought the drone down in order to have access. True story. We are indeed looking into it, but it seems to relate to trying to delete the massive amounts of spam that's hitting us. Most of these posts are moderated so you don't see them (although they do slip through), but whether you see them or not, they still impact performance. If this was a commerce website and having the same difficulties it would be unacceptable and it would be solved by now.I would think a site of this stature would have IT people that could figure it out. Surely combating spam is not something new in the internet world. It's only because I love this site, it's informative and entertaining content, the great members that contribute, I faithfully continue to sit through long load times of not only HCF but KSS as well.
