Members Stabby
I'm looking for new speakers to listen to music and to use with my digital piano. Near field monitors are not an option since they sound too harsh for music to my ears. I've tried KRK and Tascam, but most likely they do not sound good because of my room's acoustics and my listening position. My piano is against a wall and I want to place the speakers against the same wall. Floorstanding speakers would be right next to me when I'm at the piano, ie way too close, facing the wall behind me (3m distance) instead of my ears. I've been thinking of getting regular speakers like Wharfedale Diamonds, Cambridge S30 or Paradigm Atoms and placing them on the floor without stands. In that case the speakers would be right next to the piano on each side. They'd still not be directed towards me, so I wonder if it would sound any good. Any idea? Members zzzxtreme
i wonder about that too. my clavinova has small speakers, yammy p60 has small cheap speakers, but they all sound better than $500 pair of studio monitors, for solo piano
