Members Etienne Rambert
What kind of patches do you need? For basic sound-sets, you already have Yamaha XG. You might want to buy another Yamaha MU module.$50 & up on EBay right now. I still use my Yamaha MU100 quite a lot. Roland Sound Canvases are in the same price range. If you want the more synthy kind of patches, look at some of the Roland JV's or old Korg modules. I'd stay away from Korg N series modules though unless it is a rack mount N1r. The N table-top modules are really designed to be used with a computer. It's difficult to do basic stuff on them like change patches unless you use a computer. Someone recommended soft-synths if you do it all on computer. I resisted that for a long time. But I gave up.My new synths will probably all be soft-synths for the iPad.
