Making it in the songwriting business these days is all about finding and exploiting your niche, but I think you've over-focused.

I would love to make it in the songwriting business. However, it's a long shot and I know a lot of people who put a lot of effort into being marketable. They write songs with the intention of selling them. Selling doesn't sound like good inspiration, does it? If I wanted to write a song that was really about selling, I would write about sales.

Directing and redirecting one's path of songwriting based on sales is fine for some. But for me, I'm betting that I am not going to make it big, therefore I do whatever the heck I want. I'm free from any and all restrictions or influence that has not been approved by me. I'm free.

I think I understand your purpose in writing; I'm confused as to your purpose in posting here. The only remotely constructive comment I can make on your music is that I don't know who or what you're talking about.

I post here because I am a songwriter who writes songs. I share what I do with the board because it is a forum about songwriting. I am not looking for comments, praise, confusion or anything else in particular. I am simply sharing what I do with you.
