Interesting thread on producer/song doc songwriting credit issue

A common scenario for me... band or solo artist i'm producing has songs almost complete, but lacking a bridge, or a certain section isn't working so well chord-wise. Everyone is kind of scratching their heads, and the session is at an uncomfortable halt, so I'll suggest some chord changes or write the chords to a bridge (with melody / lyrics by the songwriter(s)).
