I have People keep telling me that happy song or the best but sometime I like the sad song .but I am ask you guys and see what you think the best sad song or happy song ?

One without the other becomes boring and flat. Life is about change. Up. Down. Happy. Sad.

Just write whatever comes to mind, you don't want anything to slip by.

Write whatever comes naturally, you can't just force yourself to write something you can't relate to. It's just too hard.

But in the end it doesn't really matter. Many albums have both sad and happy songs, so you can have a mix.

And also depending on the genre that you're in, some things are more appropriate. (eg. anger in death metal).

Just don't perform too many sad songs, it's depressing for the audience and possibly for yourself as well.
