Members omor Posted November 6, 2006 Members Share Posted November 6, 2006 technically you're supposed to file, and better yet you should file with a triangular edged file into the metal. strings like to be "pinched" into place than simply resting there, that way the bridge grabs on between windings on the wound strings and holds them in place. thats what i've been told by a local tech anyways...
