Members NoirAbattoir
I have a Koch Twintone amp that has a bit of a quirk. The power light is slow to come on when I flick the power switch. It's about 2-3 seconds behind the switch. I have owned the amp for 5 years and it has always done this. Also, it has never failed to light up and work perfectly. I even owned the combo version of this amp and it did the same thing. Now that I am selling my Koch Twintone amp, I have disclosed this in the description, but I think it may hurt the resale value. What could be causing this? How can I fix it? I remember opening it up when I first had it and checking to see if there were any loose wires and there were none. When I called Koch they said I could take it to a tech, but since it worked fine otherwise (and always lit up) I never bothered.
Members Sir H C
Looking at the schematic, I see nothing special, are the lights in the switches? If so, I would guess that is just because they are neons and it takes a second for them to kick on.

It has always done this and did it on the other one I owned, too. thanks for the heads up.
