Some pedals I've been working on

I've been working on some pedals... tell me what you think. Any and all comments appreciated.

I'm thinking of calling this one Triple Fuzz Sundae OR Triple Fuzz Sammich... can't decide. It's an octavia, silicon fuzz face, and germanium fuzz face.... the FF with the bigger transistors is the germanium.

The next one is a wah I built. The parts and board came from a guy on another forum. It was painted by myself (red base coat , misted with black spray paint) and the board was decorated by my GF cause she thought it was too plain.... and she was bored. It has a halo inductor, polystyrene caps, and tropical fish caps. Soon I'll be adding a switch to choose between different "Q" resistors, and a pot as well.

I also have a tremolo in the works, which I will share as well.... when I'm done of course. Once again, any and all comments appreciated... good or bad, tell me what you think. Thanks for your time.

Thank you!

The total cost of the wah was probably a little under $100.... the fuzzes were a little more... about $115-$120 (both prices are including shipping)

The wah is basically like the origianl Vox wahs, except I substituted some parts like the "volume" resistor to give it a boost when switched on, and the "Q" resistor that in the picture is out right now and I'm using a pot, and a switch with some resistors connected to it so I get more variety of the vocal-ness. The other board WAS a buffer, but I took it out today because it's not working properly.... so no more buffer.

They all sound fantastic... I'd get some clips but I've never been able to succesfully upload them... they work on my PC, but for some odd reason they never work when uploaded to a site... I'll see if my bro can fix that.

generalguitargadgets.com is a great site.... all 3 boards in the fuzz box are from there, and I followed their instructions for the build.... great site, and all their pedals sound great.

I actually decided to put them in one box for economical reasons... with the price of cables, DC and audio jacks, and a seperate box for all 3 the price would have been much higher.

Thanks again for the kind words:D

Damn that's a lot of fuzz in one box! I didn't get a chance to look at the other pics, just went right to the wah.

Too bad it costs that much for a wah, i was hoping it could be done cheaper, but with the inductor at 25 and the pot at 25 + case for 40 it all adds up. I may do the byoc one sometime.

Which pot did you use? hows the sweep on it? I need a new one on my current wah.

The wah was originally a dunlop JH-1 (hendrix model) I gutted it and used the original pot from that (100k hot potz).... I got the wah for like $40-$50 a while ago, and the parts and board cost $46 shipped. The sweep is good, but I did take off the rubber stoppers, and lowered the switch to give a wider sweep.

newest pedal:

Here's a tremolo I finished yesterday.... not as pretty or professional looking as the other ones. Pus I wanted to keep the cost down on this one since it was already on it's way of being my cheapest build.... all in all I think it's pretty good... especially since I made it for a little less than $30 for everything.

The enclosure was an old PC CD rom case that I cut and hammered into a smaller box (with the guidance and help of my dad... he used to be a welder and has some experience with sheet metal. I think it looks fine, but my dad said he could have done a better job if he wasn't 66 yrs old... he's such a perfectionist )

Had to take this one without flash because of the glare. The writing was done with sharpies, and the white part was done with a "paint pen".

It sounds great. Nice and smooth and quite versatile as well.... it can get a little choppy, but not as much as I wanted... or expected rather. Maybe I can find a mod for that.... But I've already came up with some pretty cool riffs and tunes with it, so I likey alot.None

Thanks for looking
