Members Jane1109
Hi, HELP I just got a Fostex FD-4 mixer (not new a bit old) but the problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get it to record? After putting in a zip disc and having it formated and the mic plugged into the number 1 slot in the front.. what do I do to record? No matter what I try it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? I am connecting a MXL from musicfriends microphone. If no one has any answers does any one know who on line could help me please.Jane
Members cheesemaster
are there buttons you push to select which tracks you choose to record?
Members Jane1109
Thank you for answering. On the top under the display it does have buttons that said 1 L 2R and so on. Then directly above the oulets where the mic is plugged in are sliders for each track. Ive pressed the L1 since that is where the mic is plugged in then the RECORD button, the record button flashes but when speaking into the mic it is not picked up. I have also tried having the mic plugged into a different outlet with same results. I find the instruction book is not clear at all. Maybe I am dumb!!!.Jane
