I'm looking on the smallbear site and I need some 1uF caps, and preferably for the mod it says to use metal film. But the only 1uF caps I can find are only electrolytic axial ones. Is this okay? Members Axmanjr Posted March 15, 2007 Members Share Posted March 15, 2007 You could always put two 0.47uF caps in parallel. They'll add up to roughly 0.94uF, which is just as close. From other forum boards, it seems like people are having much difficulty finding 1uF metal film caps. This method was suggested, and theoretically it's almost the same thing.
