Members planecrazy29
The treble control on my Champ 12 seems to have crapped out. It actually mutes the amp when turned up at all (must be at zero). I'm assuming it's the pot, which also has the mid boost on it. According to the schematic it's a 250k w/ spst switch (push pull). Anyone know where I can find this part? It's a Fender #025945. I'm assuming it's an audio taper. Is that correct? I am fully capable of replacing it, but just really need a source. Thanks! -Aaron

What would the difference be (other than 750k....) It will influence the tone stack of the amplifier. That is, the tone of the amp will be changed and the treble control will have a different tonal change through the taper. I'd keep looking for the correct part, I'm sure it's out there somewhere. For example: http://www.gtrheaven.com/accessories/parts2.asp?m=pu-pots-&t=Potentiometers%20and%20Switches Just make sure its an audio/log taper type A. A linear taper will not work properly.
