Had stopped playing blues and rock but this guitar has reveived my interest back in these areas.

Fenders seem to last forever, well atleast they have been around for 50 year. Do not see any problem there.
General Comments
Own a Gibson Les Paul, IBanez AS80, and few no name acoustic guitars. This guitar is now my favorite. Love the sound and also the looks . This guitar has a unique color for a fender(Ruby red?). Endless tonal possibilties.
