Members cloudscapes
you'll need to drill a big hole on the footswitch AND the enclosure under it. big enough for a DPDT or 3PDT switch. if you can't do that, then you'll need a seperate bypass looper you can plug it into. Members mikeldtl
I would either build an external bypass box or build another CE-2. There's no reason to go hacking up such a nice chorus pedal....
Members jkg
Thing is, I bought it for around $25 bucks, it has no paint, no buttons, so I want to rehouse it and paint it, and put true bypass. Do you know of a good enclosure for it??? Thanks
Members comfortablynumb
Thing is, I bought it for around $25 bucks, it has no paint, no buttons, so I want to rehouse it and paint it, and put true bypass. Do you know of a good enclosure for it??? Thanks It will fit in one of these: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=635 It's kind of a tough fit, though. I rehoused a DS-1 in one of these without too much trouble. I replaced the switch but I didn't replace it with a 3PDT and true-bypass it.. the 3PDT is a tad bit taller than the one I used so it might be an even tougher fit. Still, I think it can be done. If you're just interested in replacing the switch with a "click style" switch and not worried about it being true-bypass you can use one of the switches I used. http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=26 All you have to do is transfer the wires. It won't be true-bypass though (which to me isn't a big deal but might be to you). Good luck with it.
Members nbabmf
That's what I'm considering for when I rehouse my Dano Chicken Salad. It would take such a momentary switch if I kept the switching circuit that the pedal already uses instead of going for a true bypass.
