My 10 watt Kustom amp has just been knocked down from my workbench .Now when i plug in it crackles like mad...worked out that it's picking up the guitar cable movement.Tried plugging in a jack without any cable and moving it about and that's ok,no crackling.Tried other cables and they all crackle.Anyone have any ideas what's causing this

As far as the cable creating noise:

It could be that the weight/movement of the cable is putting pressure on the jack and/or something else inside that is now broken. The plug by itself weighs almost nothing in comparison.

If your amp was knocked down by tripping over the cable plugged into it, perhaps it's only the jack connections. Otherwise, it seems unlikely that the jack alone would have been damaged. Since the jack is likely pcb-mounted, you may be moving a broken PCB around when plugging in.

I've had a look inside and can't seen anything broken so i'll try re-soldering the jack and see if that helps.

I don't know how it ended up on the floor but i left my 2 grandsons (8 & 10)beside it to answer the phone, came back 1 minute later and its on the floor & grandsons have vanished.
