Members boytbpc
Hi, I'm looking for a low wattage (1 watt or less) tube amp to build. I have built a few pedals and I'm handy with a soldering gun, so I figured I'd break into something a little more complicated. Any suggestions? Thanks. Members boytbpc
google I was looking for some opinions of what are good projects, by people who have done some, not a list of all possible projects that are available. Members wagdog
A guy I know who builds *very* nice tube amps (Winnie at http://www.winfieldamps.com/) recommended that I start with a fender champ as a first tube project (the champ 5f1 model). There are schematics here: http://www.ampwares.com/ffg/ Good luck! I've still not built a tube amp, however I've made several .5w to 10w solid state amps and had a lot of fun doing it. Members boytbpc
I've made some solid state headphone amps in the past. I'll probably do the Noisy Cricket as a first project to get warmed up for something else. Boytbpc

I will be making a Noisy Cricket myself sometime soon, and if all goes well I'll graduate to a tube amp kit ala Guytronix.
